"If our desire for justice
is not rooted in the pursuit of restoration, then reconciliation will be nearly impossible to achieve."

 – Jamie Arpin Ricci –

Restorative Justice Process

Restorative justice is a process of bringing together different parties to experience healing, peace, and freedom through dialogue.  At times, the conversation can be very challenging.  Through the honesty and vulnerability of both parties, the restorative justice process brings opportunities to change and create new community.

At Pikes Peak Restorative Practices LLC, restorative justice is focused around those individuals we serve, to provide an environment and opportunity to safely express needs and desires to begin to feel whole again.  The process always remains voluntary.

We have extensive experience serving clients with backgrounds in:
Families
Schools
Communities
Working in conjunction with the Courts and Legal Systems
If you have experienced or caused harm and are interested in healing and repair, please email or contact us to schedule a call.

Restorative Justice

Community Group Conferencing:  Bringing together those who have committed an offense with the harmed party (victim) and community members to determine how to best repair harm and restore relationships.
Family Group Conferencing:  Bringing family members together with their support person(s) to resolve conflict and move forward when an offense has occurred.
Circles: Community building circles, wedding circles, peace circles, celebration circles, and others.  Opportunities to bring people together for a common purpose.  Circles can be utilized to resolve a conflict, celebrate an event, address a difficult issue and build healthy relationships.
High Impact Dialogue:  A facilitated dialogue between the survivor of a violent crime and the individual who committed the offense.  It allows the survivor to be heard and have their questions answered.  The responsible party is able to understand the effect of their actions and to take responsibility for the harm they caused.
Transformative Justice:  A circle process bringing together individuals and community to address harm, violence, and community issues outside of the legal system.  The process is practiced through a lens of community activism and empowerment.
